“At the Council meeting there was a decision to approve the calendar of international women’s football competitions, including amending the various regulations, which is an important event. We have always promised this. We want to take women’s football to the next level. The Council also approved a new competition for women’s football, which is the World Cup. For women's clubs, to start in 2026.
“These game-changing moves will strengthen women's football and increase its competitiveness. Particularly, countries facing the problem of not having a large number of women interested in football will develop alongside this world. This will help female footballers gain Better Life So I would like to thank all the federations and those who participated in this time for our efforts and commitment towards the same goal.
At the FIFA Council meeting, FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced the final results for selecting the host country for the World Championship. The Women's Futsal World Cup, which FIFA is preparing to ratify for the first time in 2025, chose the Philippines to host the competition.
