Tom Brady’s post-match recovery looks a lot different at the age of 45.
During the Monday installment of His SiriusXM podcast, “Let’s Go!” Brady said he walked away from cuts and bruises after taking a beating in the Buccaneers’ 19-3 win over the Cowboys on Sunday made him question his commitment to playing season 23 in the league.
“There is no margin for error when you are 45,” said the Buccaneers quarterback. “You know, you get hits and you feel every hit. When you’re younger, your body is a lot different.
“And when you’re 45, your body changes a lot. So what am I dealing with now? I woke up today and I’m going, ‘Oh my God, there were quite a few strokes.'”
Brady, who improved to 7-0 against the Cowboys, completed 18 of 27 attempts for 212 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
Although the seven-time Super Bowl champion came out with a win in his first week, he wasn’t without a few close encounters with Player of the Year winner, Cowboys player Micah Parsons.
“I looked at your arm and there are bruises, you have cuts,” Brady said on his podcast. And she says, ‘Well, how long do I want to make that commitment? “And obviously I’ve committed to this year and everything will be the same as always – I keep evaluating all these different aspects of playing.”
On Sunday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that the 2022 season is Expected to be the last season of Brady. Then the news came I mentioned page six that quarterback and his wife, Famous supermodel Gisele BundchenAt odds with his decision to retire.
“I think for me, I’ll take it day in and day out and rate it as it comes,” Brady said on his podcast. “One of these days [the rumors] They’d be right… It’s really fun for me. I’m still enjoying [it]. I feel it there, I feel the joy, I feel the happiness, I feel the camaraderie.”
Bündchen, who was not present at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, at the Buccaneers season opener, She tweeted her support for Brady Sunday.
“Let’s go TomBrady! Let’s go Bock!” Bündchen tweeted.
Elsewhere in his podcast, Brady confirmed that he was not filming “The Masked Singer” during his mysterious 11-day absence from Buccaneers training camp in August.
The Pirates visit their Division rival Saints in Week 2. As of Tuesday, it’s not clear if Bündchen will be present at the game.
