After chasing a lawyer who had committed suicide, the victim was abducted and abused by the young man’s relatives, who then presented him with public condemnation in the middle of the street.

Images aired and verified on social networks show the victim being pushed and harassed by other women under the encouragement of the audience who were filming the scene.

Indian police said on Friday that 11 people, including several women, have been arrested after a young woman was abducted, gang-raped and then paraded in the streets of New Delhi.

The incident, which highlighted sexual violence in India, provoked great fears, including from the Delhi Women’s Commission and the mayor.

Scattered and verified footage on social media (below, shared by a politician and the head of the Delhi Women’s Commission), shows the victim’s face being blackened with ink and hair being pulled by other women. Encouragement from the audience to film the scene.

According to local media, the solution of the scores

Deputy Commissioner of Police R. Satyasundaram, without elaborating, said Wednesday’s attack in the capital’s eastern district of Shahdara was the result of a “previous feud” between neighbors.

The media reported that the 16-year-old boy, who was close to the executioners, was settling accounts as the victim rejected his proposals and committed suicide by hanging himself under the train.

“Everyone arrested, including two minors, belonged to the same family. R. Satyasundaram said the videos clearly show that women were at the forefront (violently).

Rape, assault, and visualization by order of women in a family

The victim told police that she was abducted by members of the family before being raped by several men and minors, encouraged by women – and then beaten with sticks and marched down the street. New Delhi Police Deputy Commissioner Chinmay Biswal said they were examining the videos to identify others involved and would make arrests.

The mother of a 21-year-old woman and her two-year-old child has received psychological support from her attack, which allegedly took place about 50 meters from a police station that was unoccupied at the time.

Indian laws have been tightened against rapists since a teenager was raped and raped in New Delhi in 2012. The case came as a shock to the world. Indian police have long been accused of failing to take adequate measures to prevent violent crimes and of failing to bring sexual assault cases to court.
