if Iggy Azalea Going down, she takes all her haters with her. The Australian rapper took to Twitter on Monday to announce that despite the release of what was supposed to be her last album, the end of the eraLast year, she came out of her indefinite retirement from the music industry early.
“A year ago, I was ready to quit music because I was tired of the negative energy it attracts.” Wrote. “But what I’ve learned is that even when I think about my work, you will be passive and curious. So if I can’t have peace, you can’t either. I’m coming back. You cry for it.”

Azaleas are embracing chaos now. Before the album arrived last year, She told the fans I felt as though “shifting my energy and focus to what I’m most passionate about is what works for me and I hope you will continue to support any creative projects I take on here.”
But the rapper has never shied away from the music industry – she’s currently on the road with Pitbull, opening up to him Can’t stop us now summer tour.
She seemed content to be left behind for a while painting: “I think I’d just like to be remembered as a pioneer. I’ve tried a lot of voices so they remind me as someone who isn’t afraid to try new things and experiment…. All I wanted to do was create a world for some kids sitting at home and help them imagine themselves in the world of my videos.” This is the legacy I want for myself.”
Now, she’s giving herself more time to improve her legacy – and to taunt everyone who can’t leave alone.
“They can only be mad at themselves,” Azalea wrote on Twitter. “I should have been. Now I’m into my little Gemini bullshit.”
