Four charges have been filed against “Somrak” for abducting a minor and trying to rape 17 children who went on a big bike to pick him up.

“Somrak” was booked on 4 counts of child abuse, indecency and attempted rape of 17 children who had gone on a big bike to pick him up.

A meeting on December 10, 2023 inside a hotel in the middle of Khon Kaen town to discuss fees. Col. Yosawat Kaew Soop Thannit Khon Kaen Provincial Police Station Superintendent said after meeting with the investigative team that at this time, the investigators have filed 4 charges against Somrak Kamsingh, accused 1: 1. Conspiracy to take away minors under 15 from their parents who are still under 18, 2. Conspiracy to take minors under 15 years of age but not yet 18 years of age. Under 18 for obscene purposes 3. Indecent acts with children under 18 using violent force. 4. Attempting to rape another person using violent force.

As for the second suspect, he was the motorcycle driver who took Somrak and the victim to the hotel. Together, they take minors under 15 years of age but keep those under 18 away from their parents. All the allegations came out during the interrogation of the victims. The victim’s grandmother including the victim’s friends

After that the investigating officer will issue a summons. A summoning officer will be present with the documents responding to the summons. The summons will be issued tomorrow (14 Dec 2023) to meet the investigating officer or the accused may appear before the summons is issued. The accused traveled to meet the investigating officer to plead guilty. It depends on the discretion of the investigating officer. Will they be freed or restricted?
