By the American leader stressing that the United States’ commitment to the Asia-Pacific region remains unchanged and is important, explaining that throughout the meeting over the past few days, the leaders have worked together to find ways to build an inclusive, resilient and sustainable economy for the Asia-Pacific region.
Additionally, President Biden launched the Women in a Sustainable Economy Initiative and addressed threats from rapidly changing technologies such as artificial intelligence. He called on members to work together to ensure it changes for the better.
Then the US leader’s host position was handed over to Peruvian President Dina Boluarte, who will host next year’s APEC summit.
