Base PS Plus games for March 2023 confirmed

Given that Sony has already teased this PS Plus Basic Update During last month’s State of Play broadcast, this selection of games didn’t come as a surprise – but it’s nice to get confirmation along the same lines!

So, just to recap, the March 2023 PS Plus Essential lineup is as follows:

There is definitely some variety here. Battlefield 2042 clearly wasn’t the most successful multiplayer shooter on the market, but the inclusion of this PS Plus could breathe some new life into the futuristic warfare style.

Meanwhile, Minecraft: Dungeons is a fairly standard dungeon-crawling RPG that supports local co-op for up to four players. It can be fun if you have friends to play with, or if you want to sit with your kids.

Finally, Code Vein is a very solid Soulslike game with a stylized cartoon aesthetic. Although the level design leaves something to be desired, the combat is solid enough to keep things interesting. At least, if you want the ridiculously punishing difficulty and huge weapons.

All three titles will be available to add to your library and download starting Tuesday, March 7.
