Bangkok Zeus sweeps 3 tournaments in the Bangkok Ice Naka Championship | Khaosud

Ice Naka Arena organized an ice hockey competition, Bangkok Naka Ice Hockey Championship 2023, at Ice Naka Arena, 1st Floor, ZPELL@FUTURE PARK Shopping Mall, with a total of 22 participating teams from 3 countries, and the ceremony was presided over by ML Krisada Kasimsan, President of the Ice Hockey Association of Thailand, Mr. Wali Sangwilai, Secretary General of the Ice Hockey Association of Thailand and Mr. Panuwatwanit, Chief Operating Officer of Ice Naka Arena, joined the honor at the opening ceremony.

This tournament will be divided into 3 age categories, Under 7 (U7), Under 9 (U9), and Under 11 (U11), competing in a total of 55 matches, competing for prize money, totaling 135,000 baht.

The results of the competition showed that “Teacher Phueng” team Nochanat Phongrokdi, former captain of the Thai women’s ice hockey team, as the head coach of the Bangkok youth ice hockey team, Bangkok Zeus leads the youth teams to compete in all three age groups. Sweep all the tournaments in the first division.

In addition to receiving the Most Valuable Player award, including Pipit Avithanakon (U11), Themith Boontham (U9), Marlin Chatsuk (U7), Best Forward or Best Forward, Xiangyuan Zhang Chanel (Under 7).Best Goalkeeper or Best Goalkeeper: Jayden Wesley Garden (U11), Phutthakun Somwadee (U9), Chiang Su Yang Xiang (U7).

Under-9 (U9) Division 2, the winner was Bangkok Warriors, and the runners-up were Young Ducks, Chiangmai Junior, and Bangkok Zeus Blue, respectively.
