Another New Patch Released Horizon Forbidden West • Eurogamer.net

Guerrilla has released another patch for Horizon Forbidden West which will see multiple changes across the board.

Please note that there may be some spoilers for Horizon Forbidden West in the future.

“We just released patch 1.08. Thanks to everyone who used the support form for sharing their issues with us, please keep doing so for any bugs you encounter in Horizon Forbidden West,” guerrilla Wrote.

While patch 1.08 includes some general fixes like improvements to NPC animations and a fix for music repetition, the one that caught my eye was the fix for “Aloy’s breathing sounds” during a movie scene in Thebes for the game.

Besides no more heavy panting, this patch will also fix issues like the one that makes Aloy not look wet when out of the water.

In addition, Kotallo will no longer become unresponsive when reloading from a particular save.

While the patch will include several visual improvements in shadows and clouds, as well as graphic fixes during clipping operations, there is still a workaround for a problem. Notice the strange sparkling players inside the game.

However, the team at Guerrilla “continues to investigate and modify reported graphical issues with flicker, sharpness, and screen saturation,” so hopefully a fix will come soon.
