Why didn’t Meghan Markle go to Balmoral to say goodbye to the Queen?

Tensions were too high for Meghan Markle to join the royal family at Balmoral next Queen Elizabeth II Death, insiders say.

Family members, including Prince William, the new heir to the throne, rushed to the king’s bedside on Thursday.

But they belatedly bid farewell to the Queen, who passed away at the age of 96.

As Page Six mentioned, Markle She was to accompany her husband, Prince Harry, to the Scottish estate – but these plans were quickly scrapped.

During the Cut interview, Markle said the couple had offered to move to a Commonwealth country when it became no longer acceptable for them to stay in Britain, adding, “Once we were there, we were upsetting the hierarchy dynamic. So we go, ‘Okay, okay, let’s get out of here. . glad to. ”

On Thursday, the BBC’s royal long-time correspondent Nicholas Witchell said on air from Markle: “It may not be greeted so warmly, to be perfectly frank about that. ”

The palace insider added: “Harry and Meghan hate being separated from each other, so being alone in Scotland would be very difficult for Harry. No wonder why he left so early.”

Markle and Harry were reunited Friday morning at their Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage, where Harry is expected to stay until his grandmother’s state funeral, which is believed to take place on Monday, September 19.

It is not known if the couple’s children, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, will be brought in from California for the proceedings.
