Wataru Endo is the tenth Japanese player to score in the English Premier League.

Liverpool came back to win in a way that really satisfied Reds fans after they turned things around. The home team beat Fulham at the end of the match, 4-3, in the English Premier League on December 3.

The match saw Liverpool trail Fulham 2-3 in the 80th minute, before Wataru Endo, the 30-year-old Japanese defensive midfielder, was replaced as a substitute in the 83rd minute. He spent only 4 minutes on the field and scored the equalizing goal. The score is 3-3 for Liverpool.

The momentum of the match shifted completely towards Liverpool at that time, and it did not last long in the 88th minute through Trent Alexander-Arnold. The victory was 4-3, giving Liverpool three points and advancing to second place in the standings with 31 points.
