The police revealed that the mother was previously stressed because her eldest son had a disability. Because in the past, her husband, Ravi Kumar, 27, would often scold her for deciding to have this disabled child. He said this many times sarcastically, “Throw the child away,” until Saturday evening, May 5, 2024, after a violent quarrel. The mother was suffering from extreme stress. They decided to throw their son into a garbage canal connected to the Kali River, which is considered a habitat for crocodiles.
A neighbor saw the accident and called the police. The police called in forces to investigate, but because it was very dark at that time, the search for the child was not found. Until the next morning, police found the boy's body with serious injuries. There are bite marks all over the body. One hand was missing and the young sergeant was believed to have been mauled to death by a crocodile.
The body of a 6-year-old boy was sent for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Meanwhile, the police arrested the father and mother for further legal action.
