Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, today launched Vertiv™ SmartAisle™ 3, a small modular data center system powered by artificial intelligence (AI), providing SmartAisle™ configurability Smart 3 for a total IT load of up to 120 kW, and is ideal for use in a variety of industries, including banking, healthcare, industrial and transportation sectors.
SmartAisle 3 builds on previous Vertiv™ SmartAisle™ technology, a fully integrated data center ecosystem that includes racks. Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) Thermal Management and Monitoring Including physical security, the latest version of SmartAisle comes with AI functionality and self-learning features that significantly improve the operational efficiency and power consumption of small data centers. Each charging cabinet or rack cabinet is equipped with an intelligent power distribution device, or POD, that seamlessly manages power delivery to the rack PDU. It acts as an inspection gate that supervises transportation conditions including temperature, humidity, and door condition.
SmartAisle 3 also eliminates the hassle of installing complex cabling equipment on site and saves white space by integrating cable trays with front and rear Carriage Sensors. Additionally, SmartAisle 3 also simplifies setup across device sites with one-click networking features. Which can easily configure data center systems and has an AI-powered self-learning function that intelligently monitors and adjusts the temperature according to the working environment. This allows up to 20% energy savings compared to systems without AI features, while at the same time maintaining optimal operating conditions.

The SmartAisle™ 3 includes a Vertiv™ Liebert® APM uninterruptible power supply (UPS), a Vertiv™ Liebert® CRV 4 inline cooling system, a Vertiv™ Liebert® RDU 501 smart monitoring system, and also comes with a flexible pre-bus system.
