Ubisoft has come out to confirm that Prince of Persia Remake is still alive and well and not going away.
In a post celebrating the twentieth anniversary of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, the Ubisoft Montréal team revealed the development progress on the new version, confirming that the gameIt’s moving in the right direction. The “important” period of creation has passed.
“As you all know, the Ubisoft Montréal team remains committed to reimagining this legendary story. We are happy to announce that the (Prince of Persia Remake) project has now passed an important milestone. Creation will continue,” said Ubisoft.

After Prince of Persia Remake received some unflattering announcements during its announcement, the Ubisoft team decided to postpone the game’s release date indefinitely. The studios have changed several times, until recently the project was in the hands of Ubisoft Montréal or the creators of the Assassin’s Creed series.
So far, the team has not revealed an official release date for Prince of Persia Remake, and even then, if there is any interesting news about the game, the GamingDose team will report it.
