I have to admit I enjoyed writing about Tony Khan’s mega monthly or fortnightly releases. This is why I was somewhat surprised on tonight’s episode (April 22) of Rampage when Excalibur was running out of card for the next episode of AEW Dynamite and the graphics on the screen simply said “We’ll hear from Tony Khan”.
This is an understatement when it comes to promoting Tony Khan’s appearance on Dynamite. What’s on Tony’s mind this time that isn’t a huge announcement? Could Owen Hart’s heroic comeback lead to Double or Nothing 2023? Will he let us know that next Friday’s Rampage will air at a terrible time like 5:30 PM ET because of the NBA Playoffs? It can’t be that a new AEW show will be announced on Saturday, because that’s sure to get huge treatment. Will Mazhar Khan be promoted to a huge ad before next Wednesday?
