TMNT: Cowabunga Group is getting its first major update, and here are the full patch notes

Digital Eclipse has teased an all-new update for the premium TMNT compilation, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Cowabunga Collection, yesterday. And today, in a livestream, the developer shared some of the key details that are part of the game’s first big update – including New homepage icon (Thanks, Jimatsu!).

The game’s first update is available to download now on Switch, and the other major highlight is that online multiplayer has been added to the game Turtles in time (SNES). extremist! Now you can play one of the best TMNT games online with friends!

Update, December 21, 2022

New additions

  • Main menu icon changed to box art. (converts)
  • The PlayStation 4 Arcade controller is now supported. PlayStation 4 (PlayStation 5) joystick support is now implemented.
  • Xbox arcade stick is now supported. Xbox (Xbox) joystick support is now implemented.
  • When creating an online lobby, the player can now set the size of the lobby for the two arcade games. The host can limit it to two, three or four players.
  • When creating an online lobby, the player can now set the frame delay to “Auto”. When this is set, the input lag is adjusted according to the number of players.
  • A new improvement has been added to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters. Ultimate-Attacks can now be enabled in Story Mode ON/OFF.
  • A new improvement has been added to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters. Group Mode can now be enabled on/off. (Only available in the Japanese version.)
  • A new improvement has been added to the JP/NA arcade version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The number of lives per coin can be adjusted from one to five.
  • A new improvement has been added to the NA Arcade version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. The number of lives per coin can be adjusted from 1 to 8.
  • A new improvement has been added to JP/NA arcade Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Difficulty can be adjusted.
  • A new improvement has been added to the NA arcade Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. Difficulty can be adjusted.
  • A new improvement has been added to the NA arcade Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. Game Loop can now be turned on/off. During playback, the game will restart from the beginning after the credits.
  • Added a new button action to “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (JP/NA Arcade)”, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (NA Arcade).” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist.” Players can now set a button to “Private”. This button presses “attack” and “jump” together to make it easier to perform special attacks.
  • A new color enhancement has been added to all Game Boy games. Added Game Boy Color ON / OFF mode. A new “Color Palette” option has been added to the Pause menu for all Game Boy games. In addition to other filters, players can choose from four color palettes:
    1. black and white
    2. green boy game
    3. Green pocket boy game
    4. Game boy light blue
  • Sound for different games and modified main menu.
  • Additional pages for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters NES and Genesis have been added to the Strategy Guide.
  • Additional page for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Hyperstone Heist for Genesis has been added to the Strategy Guide.
  • Visual settings are saved for each game.

Fixed issues

  • Fixed the German translation of “Punch Repently” for page 11 of the Strategy Guide.
  • In the music player, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show cassette tape icon now shows the correct icon.
  • On page 5 of the Strategy Guide Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. Turtle Tip 3 screenshot has been replaced.
  • In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time, Stage Select improvements now work even after changing settings in Options.
  • In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Hyperstone Heist, Stage Select improvements now work when selecting players.
  • Improved easy menu navigation for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: The Manhattan Project work now.
  • Additional credits improvements for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters now work.
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Museum’s Turtles In Time Guide now includes missing page 18-19.
