The Israeli army is brutal again. Airstrikes hit a United Nations (UN) school where hundreds of Palestinians fled the war. At least 32 people have died in central Gaza.
The Israeli military announced on June 6, 2024 that it had carried out an airstrike against a United Nations school. Because it is the 'home' of Hamas members.
An Israeli warplane fired two missiles at the school, a local journalist told the BBC. It is located in Nuserat Refugee Camp. It damages the upper floors of the building killing at least 32 people and injuring many others. Meanwhile, ambulances and doctors, nurses and rescue workers tried to help the injured. They were rushed to the nearest hospital
Hamas's media office later condemned Israel for carrying out the 'heinous massacre', while director of Hamas's media office, Ismail al-Thawbda, said it rejected the Israeli military's claims that the UN school was Hamas' headquarters.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released a statement: It carried out precision strikes against a hidden Hamas hideout at a UNRWA school in the Nusrat refugee camp area.
