“SWAT” holds a welcome ceremony and draws for the women's tennis tournament “Thailand Open 2024”

During the evening of 27 January 2024 at the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort Hotel, Prachuap Province, Mr. Suat Liptapanlop, former Deputy Prime Minister and Honorary President of the Thai Tennis Association under Royal Patronage presided over the opening reception for the tennis players and the drawing ceremony for the women's tennis competition “Thailand Open 2024 presented by EA,” competing for a total prize money of more than US$267,082, or approximately 10 million baht, with Mr. Hans. Kitty Phuong Sokvakul, Acting Deputy Provincial Governor of Prachuap Province and distinguished guests who attended the ceremony There were 151 athletes advancing to compete from 24 countries around the world. Between January 29 – February 4, 2024 at Hua Hin Arena, Prachuap Province, around the main draw, there will be a total of 32 competitors, divided into singles and pairs, a total of 16 pairs, starting with the first pair competing on January 29, 2024, competing in the finals on Sunday 4 February 2024.
The winner will receive 250 points and receive a trophy in the shape of a Bryde Whale jumping out of the water to play with a golden tennis ball. The trophy is made of rose gold plated metal and can be compared to a women's tennis match with the sweetness and femininity of the pink colour. Bryde's whale is a symbol of the protected animals of the Thai seas. It is a gentle giant of the Gulf of Thailand. It is unique to Hua Hin Tourism promoting Hua Hin to become a world class resort city and sustainable tourism.
