“I laughed until I cried and cried until I laughed.” This is an excerpt from The wonderful Mrs. Maisel Today star Rachel Brosnahan posted on Instagram her thoughts after dropping the final episode of the Emmy Award-winning series on Prime Video. Brosnahan shared some behind-the-scenes photos in a photo gallery, followed by a video of the moments immediately after filming the final scene. (Hint – there are a lot of confetti).
“This amazing adventure has changed my life more than I can count,” Brosnahan wrote in her Instagram post. “I met some of the greatest people I have ever known, and I can now call them family, mentors, and friends. I went to TV bootcamp and learned how to be a better performer, conductor, and producer. I wore stunningly beautiful clothes, ate an embarrassing amount of prop food, and got the middle finger from Alex [Borstein] Daily. I grew up. I laughed until I cried and cried until I laughed.
And she continued, “Everyone says that, but they lie because our crew is the best in this field.” “Many people have put their time and talent into this show since its first season and none of this would have been possible without their dedication. We had the greatest actors, writers, producers, department heads, and [series creator] Amy Sherman-Palladino captains our ship. She trusted all of us with her baby and pushed us to be better. And you watched it! The wind has been in our sails through the long days and hard nights. I am overwhelmed with gratitude and will be for a very long time. boobs until the last chapter.”
