Most expect the same approach when the Bears start working on the next NFL Draft.
Or it could just be an elaborate hoax. The Poles might have his daring move on their mind already. Something that should really change the draft and hopefully make Fields happy. Anthony Trigg of Pro Football Focus put in a big show. In a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, he made the Bears jump to 16th in the first round. One content The team can reunite the fields with its preferred target.

The cold truth is that this idea is unlikely to happen. Chicago only has six picks in the draft, which means they’ll have to dig through their inventory for 2023 and possibly even 2024 to make such a trade-off. This would go against everything the Poles have pointed out so far like GM. Then there is a strong possibility that Olave will rise above the 16th overall pick. As good as it is, no receiver is worth it.
Chicago Bears are ready and willing to take their chances.
The draft proved that good wide receivers could be found outside of the first round year after year. Last year was another example. Amon Ra St. Brown, fourth round, hit over 900 yards. Darnell Mooney broke for 1,000 yards last season, and was a fifth-round pick. Smart teams understand that you don’t have to spend top picks in this position. Not when the odds are good, you can find strong contributors later.
This is why the Chicago Bears are likely to focus on the trenches in the second round. Especially the offensive side. Protecting the fields is as vital as arming it, if not more so. There is also a much greater chance that the Poles will be looking to go down through the trade rather than go up in an effort to add additional selections. He wants to build this team through the draft, and he knows they’re more than a player away from the competition.

Losing Olaf will result in stinging, especially since the Bears can get by if they still have a first-round pick. Unfortunately that was lost in the field trade. Then again, if the young QB takes a big step forward in the next year or so, no one will have to worry about such things.
