“In the end it ended with him asking them not to attend any matches this coming season.”

Patrick apparently took issue with the assertion as he took to social media with the above response.

Back in October, his 21-year-old brother Jackson was forced to apologize to fans after he was pounced on social media for dancing over a logo on the field in honor of late Washington soccer star Sean Taylor.

Taylor was a Washington safety professional before he was shot and killed at his Florida home by burglars in 2007. On Sunday, the Washington Football Club (WFT) team retired its number 21 jersey with a pre-game party attended by Taylor’s family. Fans are seen holding towels bearing Taylor’s standard number, and the number “21” painted along the sidelines at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.

One of the painted #21 banners had Jackson, a social media celebrity in his own right, doing a quick number dance for his followers on TikTok.

WFT blogger Chad Ryan tweeted, “Jackson Mahomes dance to Sean Taylor’s #21 tribute to TikTok sideshow.” Perhaps the biggest question should be why anyone is allowed to stand on it in the first place.

Jackson, seen in a pink sweatshirt and black hat, was in a tight spot along the sideline where he claimed he was directed to stand.

“I want to sincerely apologize for being Shawn Taylor #21 by accident at FedEx Stadium,” Jackson wrote on Twitter after his brother’s victory over the WFT 31-13. We were instructed to stand in that area and I did not mean any disrespect for him or his family whatsoever.

Prior to that, Jackson was previously recorded pouring water on Ravens fans in Baltimore earlier this season.

Patrick’s fiancée Brittany faced a lot of criticism on social media during his rise to fame, including when she approached him on the court as he led the Chiefs to victory in the Super Bowl LIVE on February 2, 2020.
