MF DOOM’s widow confirms rhyme book theft

MF DOOM’s widow says record executive Eothen “Egon” Alapatt refuses to part with her late husband’s rhyme book.

MF DOOM’s widow, Yasmine Damelconfirmed that a “ex-colleague” still owns her late husband’s rhyme book and refuses to give it up despite several failed attempts, even before Dom’s death in October 2020. The accusation comes next. Quilly student Eothen “Egon” called Alapatt for being “the eagle of culture” and stealing the rhyme book for DOOM.

“We were hoping after DOOM moved to Egon that he would do the right thing and return the books to the family, but he continued to ignore these requests,” DeMille said in a statement obtained by TMZ. “Unfortunately, Egon isn’t the only ex-partner who misuses resemblance, art, and life work at DOOM.”

“This is a non-black person who routinely exploits and flaunts black artists,” he wrote in a post before listing several of his crimes.

He added, “MF DOOM ran this guy’s wedding for free, but later stopped swinging with him due to his diabolical ways. Someone again asked Egon why he stole MF DOOM’s rhyme book, he blocked me. The era of the eagle culture is over.”
