Champions League, group stage, match 4
Wednesday night, November 8, 2023
Copenhagen 4-3 Manchester United
Andre Onana – 5/10
4 loose balls lose the right to protect each ball.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 7.5/10
He helped the team score the first goal. He coordinates well with Rashford
Jonny Evans – 5/10
He played just 15 minutes before being substituted. Because he was suffering from an illness
Harry Maguire – 6/10
Starting with a pairing with Evans before meeting up with a very rusty Varane. Both were on the frame when the team awarded the penalty, but Maguire also contributed to the spot-kick.
Diogo Dalot – 5/10
The first goal was the team’s early lead. We have to admire him but he still has the same defensive problems.
Christian Eriksen – 6/10
He has an impact in midfield when the team doesn’t get a red card. Before he was substituted in the 46th minute (Amrabat came on) because Ten Hag wanted to focus on defensive play.
Scott McTominay – 6/10
It was an exciting and lively start and it was Hoylund’s assist that put the team 0-1 ahead.
Bruno Fernandes (Captain) – 8/10
The team general was involved in three of Manchester United’s goals in this match, especially when the team still had 11 players, and he performed very well.
Alejandro Carnacio – 6/10
He got the opportunity to start as a starter in this game. He is almost certainly a goalscorer.
Rasmus Hojlund – 7.5/10
He scored two goals alone. And again he scored for the team in the Champions League, but the team ended up not winning… really strange.
Marcus Rashford – 5/10
The red card he received was a turning point. Really bad luck
Raphael Varane (in place of Evans, 16th) – 4/10
The defensive game is not very reliable.
Sofiane Amrabat (in place of Eriksen, 46th place) – 6/10
He was sent when the team was less than 10 people because Ten Hag wanted him to help with the defence.
Mason Mount (in place of Hoylund 84) – No points
There’s not a lot of time in the field.
