Developer Larian Studios has revealed the short-term update roadmap for the brutal RPG Baldur’s Gate 3 on PC. This is a good fit for PlayStation faithful owners as the plan is for parity between the two systems at launch and beyond.

Larian Boss Swin Fink provided an update on X And in keeping with the game’s Early Access philosophy, he took suggestions personally. He even mentioned that “some requests” would be incorporated into Patch 2, which made us hopeful for the much-coveted ability to change our character’s appearance, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

It was yesterday, and little has happened since, that Larian Hotfix 4 launched before having to quickly roll it back due to a “rare compiler issue,” leaving players who had updated their saves stale, unable to continue.

Studio fell on his sword and I apologize for disturbingpraising his Canadian and Malaysian team for quickly identifying the issue, which has since been fixed, and re-publishing Hotflix 4. This has resulted in an overhaul of how patches are handled going forward, resulting in a better product when it launches on PS5 on September 6th.
