Kristin Cavallari is giving fans a tour of the sprawling Franklin, Tennessee property she bought for just over $5 million in the summer of 2021 following her divorce from Jay Cutler.

In the latest digital edition of MyDomaineThe 35-year-old Laguna Beach alum revealed that she hired Nashville-based designer April Tomlin to transform the interior of a three-story, five-bedroom ranch.

Cavallari gushed that she’s “so happy” to be confined to Tennessee and believes that raising her and Cutler’s three kids — sons Camden, 10, and Jackson, 8, and daughter Saylor, 7 — in a rural setting is “a really great way to grow up.”

Cutler and Cavallari separated in 2020 and initially feuded over money and custody of their children, but have since settled into an amicable parenting relationship.

According to the divorce agreement that I got Peopleshe was allowed to “use the spousal money” to buy herself a new house.

The stunning home—which Cavallari said is “calling my name”—is set on 28 acres of land that includes a chicken coop, vegetable garden, personal greenhouse, berry bushes, and apple trees.

“Having bees, honey, and a chicken coop makes me so happy,” said a Denver, Colorado resident.

“For my kids to be able to go out into our coop and get eggs is a really great way to grow up — and a completely different way from the way I was raised.”

Cavallari was born in Denver but grew up in Laguna Beach, California — an affluent but small coastal city in Orange County with a population of about 23,000.

She continued, “Being able to be home in this environment is very nice for me. I can’t say enough good things about Tennessee.

The home renovation took 18 months and included everything from the kitchen to the pool to the basement.

Besides achieving a clean, Kim Kardashian-approved aesthetic consisting of mostly neutral tones, Cavallari also wanted to create a kid-friendly space.

Kitchen: Her stunning kitchen is complete with gold hardware accents, hand-tiled mosaic backlash, marble countertops and glass-door cabinets that make locating dishes and cookware easy.

Although it was a long process, Cavallari couldn’t be happier with the way things turned out.

To this day, I thank my lucky stars because it all worked out. Honestly, it was like everything just aligns with me.

Along with the interview, Cavallari took a closer look at some of her favorite rooms and the inspiration behind them in a nearly two-minute video posted to YouTube Wednesday.

The businesswoman’s front doors enter the dining room where she and her children frequently dine and serve food to the house guests.

“This is where my kids and I will have dinner, or if I have friends coming over, we’ll definitely be here,” she explained to MyDomaine.

Cavallari noted that her current table setting includes glasses and napkin rings from her lifestyle brand, Uncommon James, which she says is “very special” to her.

Cavallari and her kids spend most of their time in the home’s cozy living room, complete with upholstered ottomans, a large fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to the backyard, and built-in storage.

“My kids will drop in here and watch TV while I dine in the kitchen,” she said.

Cavallari “loves the living room because it’s open so it always looks like it is.” [her and her kids] together.’

Next, Cavallari ventured into her stunning kitchen, complete with gold hardware accents, hand-tiled mosaic backlash, marble countertops and glass-door cabinets that make locating dishes and cookware easy.

The reality star explained, “Here we are in my kitchen which was completely remodeled when I moved in. I just wanted it to have a really warm and cozy feel to it, and I really feel like we picked that up.”
