The stylish mother and daughter looked adorable as they donned matching black dresses and rocked the look at President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden’s dinner.
The event — held in honor of French President Emmanuel Macron — was Violet’s first state dinner, and it served as a celebration of her birthday, too.

Violet, who turned 17 also Thursday, opted for a black gown covered in a pattern of shiny black hearts. She added a pair of red heels and a small black bag.
