Jennifer Garner made a rare public appearance alongside her daughter, Violet Affleck, while attending the state dinner at the White House Thursday in Washington, DC.
The stylish mother and daughter looked adorable as they donned matching black dresses and rocked the look at President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden’s dinner.
The event — held in honor of French President Emmanuel Macron — was Violet’s first state dinner, and it served as a celebration of her birthday, too.
Violet, who turned 17 also Thursday, opted for a black gown covered in a pattern of shiny black hearts. She added a pair of red heels and a small black bag.
Twinning with her daughter, Jennifer wore a gorgeous floor-length black dress by Ralph Lauren, and the pair walked the elegant event smiling and holding hands.
