Israel rescues 4 hostages, and Palestine complains that 210 people were killed

Israel rescues four hostages in a special operation in the Nazareth refugee camp in Gaza while demanding Palestine. The operation resulted in the deaths of 210 people and the injury of hundreds of others.

Foreign news agencies reported, on Saturday, June 8, 2024, that the Israeli army is carrying out a special operation in the “Nuseirat” refugee camp in the central region of the Gaza Strip. It was able to rescue the four hostages who were kidnapped by Hamas from the “Nova” music festival during a major attack on October 7 of last year.

Mr. Andrei Kozlov arrived in Ramat Gan for a physical examination.

According to the Israeli army, the four hostages, Noa Arkamani, Almok Meir Jan, Andrei Kozlov and Shlomi Seif, were rescued by special forces, intelligence agencies and the occupation army from two locations in the Nuseirat camp.

“They are in good medical condition. He is currently being transferred to the Sheba Medical Center in the Tel Hashomer area. For further medical examinations,” the IDF said, adding that an Israeli police officer from the special counter-terrorism unit died while participating in this rescue operation as well.

News of the hostage rescue came shortly after the Israeli army announced that they were conducting military operations in the Nuseirat camp. And other areas in the central region of Gaza were reported to have been subjected to heavy bombardment with air and artillery strikes.

The Palestinian government media office in Gaza came out to blame. The Israeli rescue operation resulted in the killing of at least 210 people and the injury of more than 400 others. Many of the dead and wounded were transferred to two hospitals, Al-Awda Hospital in Nazareth and Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah.

Mr. Nidal Abdo, one of the witnesses, said: He was shopping in Nuseirat on Saturday before the hectic attack occurred. “There were dead children all over the streets. They eliminated Nuseirat. “This is hell on earth.”

Hamas issued a statement criticizing the Israeli rescue operation, describing it as a “terrorist attack.” It is a “heinous crime” and the Israeli army is committing massacres against innocent people.
