The Israeli military has announced that it is preparing to expand operations against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. After the evacuation deadline including significant ground operations
Foreign news agencies have reported that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a statement late Saturday, October 14, 2023, saying they are preparing for the next phase of the war against Hamas. This includes air, sea and air strikes along with significant ground operations.
Lakhs of reservists they had previously recruited would take part in the operation. And the operations will cover various attack schemes.
The statement also noted that in addition to the aforementioned Joint Strike Force, Israeli ground forces and military logistics chiefs, IDF soldiers are preparing to expand the battlefield. In the last few days, the troops involved have received the necessary equipment for the fight.
“IDF forces are concentrated all over the country. And the preparations for the next phase of war are increasing. There will be considerable focus on ground operations,” said Le Thongkorn.
The latest report came a few hours ago. After a deadline set by Israel for Palestinians to vacate the northern Gaza Strip. Expires at 4:00pm local time on Saturday, October 14th. It is unclear whether all of the more than 1.1 million people in the northern region have been evacuated.
