“I am grateful for so much in my life”

Selena Gomez celebrated her 31st birthday on Saturday while asking her fans to help others.

The actress and singer, who recently spent some quality time with her little sister Gracie, shared a photo of herself blowing out candles on an S-shaped chocolate cake.

Sweets are decorated with large pink flowers.

“I am grateful for so much in my life,” the The Only Murders in the Building star wrote next to the photo, which showed her perched on a bed.

The ice cream singer wore a pink T-shirt and styled her hair in long waves.

The Hotel Transylvania star features large hoop earrings and pearl necklaces.

She continued, “One of the things I’m most grateful for is the work we’ve been able to do with Rare fund By @rarebeauty.

The fund aims to raise $100 million over the next decade to “expand access to mental health services and education for young people around the world.”

One percent of all proceeds from sales of Selena’s Rare Beauty products is donated to the fund.

The Lose You to Love Me artist paid tribute to her fans as she revealed, “It’s because of you that we’ve been able to raise awareness and increase access to youth mental health services.”

“This is my true passion in life.”

In lieu of gifts, the Spring Breakers star said, “If you want to do something for my birthday, please donate to the Rare Impact Fund.” If you have the means, consider making a donation to help us make a difference. I love you all!’

On Rare Beauty’s Instagram page, a montage of video footage was put together to honor the company’s founder.

Selena is the heart of Rare Beauty – leading its mission to shatter unrealistic beauty standards and raise awareness + increase access to mental health resources.
