The Prime Minister outlined 3 guidelines for developing the Thai capital market. It aims to make Thailand an investment destination in the region. The SEC Strategic Report 2024 Seminar “Policy and Direction for the Development of the Domestic Capital Market” reveals the government’s emphasis on the capital market. and the country’s transition to a digital economy and sustainable economy (ESG economy)” on December 7, 2023 at Grand Ballroom, Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel, Bangkok. The Prime Minister has announced 3 approaches to strengthen the Thai capital market as follows: 1 Attract foreign investment. The government aims to open up international trade markets, economic zones and infrastructure investment, making the Thai capital market an investment destination in the region. Including promoting ease of doing business in Thailand for investors 2. Focus on sustainability The government will take steps and support all sectors to move forward with full strength. Aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals 3. Support fundraising for the commercial sector.
