Grimes uploaded a new selfie to Instagram to its 2.4 million fans on Friday, showing off a much bigger look that could be the result of too much lip liner.
The musician, who previously dated Elon Musk, explained that she was considering getting a tattoo with white ink on her face.
“I am very seriously considering getting a tattoo with white ink on my face next week,” the 34-year-old said.
New selfie: Grimes, 34, uploaded a new photo of her to her Instagram homepage on Friday in which she wondered if she would get a new tattoo.
The mother of two, son X Æ A-12 and daughter Exa, who she shares with Elon, snapped a quick shot of herself while posing for a close-up selfie.
She wore a light pink lipstick, sharply bordered by a purple lip liner. Grimes also defined her eyes with brown eyeshadow. A layer of black eyeliner helped her green eyes pop.
Her hair was parted in the middle and passed into two separate parts that fell in front of her shoulders.
Grimes, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, added a comment to the post, expressing to her loyal fans that she felt it was time to get a face tattoo.

She wrote: “Selfies are outdated yet.” I’m seriously considering getting a white ink tattoo on my face next week. Any thoughts?’
Grimes revealed that she plans to get a white ink tattoo as soon as next week.
Social media users immediately jumped into the comments section to offer their opinions and support.
One follower agreed, “It’s about time,” while another user wrote, “You have such a beautiful and unique face, I hope the tattoo makes it even better!”
In April of last year, the talented songwriter shared a photo of her back covered in tattoos in fresh white ink, explaining that once healed, she would have “pretty weird scars.”

according to page six, Grimes expressed her desire to hit the goal of covering her entire body with outline tattoos in white ink on her Instagram story in January.
She wrote that she was working for a “slow, long effort to get a complete alien body… completely covered in white ink.”

Grimes was previously in a relationship with SpaceX founder, Elon Musk, from 2018 until 2021, when it was announced that the two had separated.
The couple welcomed a son in 2020, and a daughter soon after in 2021. Speaking to Vanity Fair In March about her relationship with the Tesla CEO, she stated, “There is no real word for it.”
