Rapper Doja Kat is outraged after her private messages were revealed to the world by “Stranger Things” star Noah Schnapp.
The “Say So” singer, 26, sent a letter to the 17-year-old actor, who plays Will Byers on the popular Netflix show, asking him to set her up with his co-star Joseph Quinn, 29, who plays Eddie Monson.
She wrote, “Noah, can you tell Joseph to hit me,” adding, “Wait no. Does he have a boyfriend?”
Schnapp wrote back, “LMAOO slips into his dms,” but rapper “Woman” revealed that she couldn’t find Quinn’s account on any social media platform. Then Schnapp sent her a link to the actor’s Instagram account.
Doja made her interest in Quinn before writing to Schnapp for their matchmaking services. on me Twittershe wrote, “Joseph Quinn is fine as stated,” when the new season of the hit show was discontinued.
But things got worse when Schnapp jokingly posted his exchange with the rapper in a now-deleted video on TikTok, where she shares private messages she sent him with more than 30 million fans.
“I think to be fair, let’s first be calm about it. Like a kid Noah, but I don’t even know how old he is, but he’s not even finished — like nowhere is he over 21,” the rapper said in a live Instagram video Thursday. “But when you’re that small, you make mistakes.”
The rapper labeled Schnapp as “incredibly socially unaware and battered,” that she felt violated spreading her private messages to the world.
“Maybe he is, like a whole snake. But I didn’t see him that way,” she told fans. “I just assumed he’d feel comfortable about it and went and shared information I didn’t feel comfortable with him to share.”
Schnapp hasn’t responded publicly yet but deleted the video from his profile on Friday morning.
