US President Joe Biden has hinted that the US will not join Israel in retaliatory strikes against Iran. Fear of war has increased in the region

US President Joe Biden and senior officials in his National Security Council told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday (April 14, 2024) that the US would not launch any strikes against Iran after Iran fired hundreds of missiles and drones at Israel, foreign news agencies said.

Under intense pressure from the war situation in Gaza, Biden does not want the war in the Middle East region to escalate further than it already is.
