Interim WBC Super Middleweight World Championship Between two undefeated fighters, interim world champion David Benavidez takes on challenger Demetrius Andrade on Sunday morning, May 26. “Andrade showed the world that he is a really good fighter,” said Benavidez, who has achieved a record 27 consecutive victories, including 23 by knockout. “He is a two-time world champion, but this is the only way to prove that I am the best.”

Benavidez continued: “Andrade is not an easy opponent to beat, he has a lot of techniques and a very good defense. But I myself always find a way to win. And this Saturday will be no different. I am confident that I will find a way to win.”
As for Andrade, a 35-year-old American competitor who has a record of 32 fights without defeat and 19 wins by knockout, he said: “This is a fight between two of the best fighters in the class.
