An American woman smiles after killing two men

A US teenager has been sentenced for drunken driving that killed two people in a road accident. During his trial, chilling and unfathomable images were leaked. We see her smiling and amused during a blood alcohol test administered minutes after the tragedy.

The accident occurred in April 2022 in East Peoria, Illinois. Andrea Roswich, 43, and Paul Prowant, 55, were tragically killed in a car crash outside the bar. The driver, Stephanie Melgoza, a 23-year-old student, had a blood alcohol level three times the legal limit.

Special site Law & Crime Police released footage last weekend of the crash minutes after it happened. This is a 26 minute video.

We first see a young woman on the street, being subjected to various balance tests by the police to determine her health. “New York Post”. She misses everyone and sometimes has fun with her failures and even laughs at them.

We don’t know what she knew at the time, but she caused a major accident.

She starts singing

Stephanie Melgoza is then placed in a police car. “You killed two people,” a policeman told him. “No, I didn’t,” she mumbled. She would repeat it several times. “Two people were hit by your vehicle, both dead,” the officer told him bluntly. She continues to refuse.

A long line followed at the hospital’s emergency room. Young woman is installed in a hospital bed. She talks about a trip for her next birthday. She jokes. Then hums, while dancing…

The angry policeman accused him of making fun of the situation. He tells her that her behavior is “pathetic” and “bad”. Again, he said to her: “You killed two people tonight. I don’t think you understand.”

The young woman’s reaction? She asks when she can get her car back as she has classes the next day.

And a smile

The agent replied that she would sleep in jail. And his car was “a crime scene.” Still no reaction. After a moment of silence, Stephanie Melgoza started humming softly again.

On April 27, the young American was sentenced to 14 years in prison.

His attitude during the trial was completely different. She expressed her grief in tears. “I am very sorry for everything that happened and will never do such a thing again. I haven’t had alcohol since then. I have no intention of drinking again. I want to do something positive to change things, talk about this case and warn others about the dangers of alcohol,” he said.
