Publisher Paradox Interactive and developer Triumph Studios have announced upcoming expansions and premium content for Age of Wonders 4as well as opening digital pre-orders.
The Standard Edition is priced at $49.99. The premium version is priced at $89.99 and includes the game, Expansion Pass, Aric Rex Ruler, Lion Plate Armor Set, Athlan Crown, and Imperial Cape.

Age of Wonders 4 It invites players to take control of a fantasy world of their own design, in a mixture of strategy, role-playing, and turn-based combat. Mighty Wizard Kings have returned to the realms to rule as gods among mortals, and players will rise to challenge their rule by using the Tomes of Magic to unleash arcane destruction and upgrade their armies, gaining new abilities and forms. For the first time in the series, players can create their own custom faction, leaving their mark on countless worlds through every choice they make.
In the Age of Wonders 4 Expansion Pass, players will receive the following content:
- Archimage clothing – The wizards of Mahaen wear their admiration, representing their great personalities and aspirations. This outfit pack unlocks a new set of outfits that you can wear as a whole, or can be mixed and matched with other in-game items. The Archmage Attire Pack will be available immediately upon launch Age of Wonders 4 For all premium players.
- Dawn of the Dragon – Embrace the ancient Dragon Masters’s strength Age of Wonders 4 “Dragon Dawn” Content Pack. From your dragon throne, forge empires populated by reptilian minions and use brutal magic to evolve your people into dragon hybrids. This content pack includes a new type of Dragon Ruler, Reptilian Form, and New Tomes of Magic, and will launch in Q3 2023.
- Empires and Ashes – After the devastation of the Wizard Kings, human empires are reborn! In the Age of Wonders 4 In the “Empires and Ashes” expansion, players fuse magic and steel to unleash devastating war machines to bring Godir back to the Starsea. This full expansion, scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2023, includes a new culture, new magic magazines, new options for building an empire, and a new story world.
- Primal anger – Nature’s Spirits channel Age of Wonders 4 “Primal Fury” content pack. Create races using new savage forms and primitive culture, with new Tomes of Magic that tap into the hidden forces of nature and the realms of Fey. Your surroundings will be able to contain new forms of wildlife, creatures and abundant resources. Primal Fury will be available in the first quarter of 2024.
- Eldritch Worlds – the Age of Wonders 4 The Eldritch Realms expansion opens portals to worlds full of mystical wonders and unspeakable horrors. New powers threaten Godir of Magehaven’s rule. With new alien monsters, new races, magical worlds and locations, this full expansion will add a new dimension to the game in Q2 2024.
