TULSA, Okla. – The 2022 PGA Championship ends on Sunday, and while the top of the leaderboard features a number of golfers who have never won a major tournament – let alone a PGA Tour event – the massive talents vying for the Wanamaker Cup won’t give up on the sprawl. Mito Pereira holds a three-stroke lead ahead of the final as he attempts to become the first Chilean man to win a major and the first player to win the tournament since Keegan Bradley in 2011 at the Atlantic Club.

Matt Fitzpatrick will join Pereira in the final pairing, who will attempt to capture a piece of his history in the Southern Hills. With the win, Fitzpatrick will not only become the first Englishman to win a major since Danny Willett at the 2016 Masters but also the first to win a PGA Championship in over 100 years. The two will beat him in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with former Wake Forest teammates Will Xalatores and Cameron Young in the group leading up to them. For the first time since at least 2000, the top four on the leaderboard heading into the final round of the Grand Slam didn’t have a win on the PGA Tour.
